Cirque Du Soleil...I love you

Yep that is right. After going to see Cirque Du Soleil's Quidam last Wednesday, I am totally in love with Cirque Du Soleil. The show was absolutely amazing. When the show ended all I wanted was more and more. I wish more shows were in this area. There are a bunch of permanent shows in Vegas (no where near where I live) and there are 2 permanent shows in Florida (again no where near my house). So yeah I have to wait hopefully just one year until the traveling show comes back to my home town.
Everything about the show was amazing. I wanted to see it again so I purchased it on DVD on ebay for about 10 bucks. That will keep be occupied for a little while. I have also downloaded like every Cirque Du Soleil cd. I love the music. It is a great way to relax. If you have no clue what Cirque Du Soleil is go to youtube.com and type Cirque Du Soleil in the search and watch one of the clips. Better yet go to cirquedusoleil.com and watch the clips they have (better quality but a little short). Well, I am going to go browse the internet using stumbleupon.

I'm using Ubuntu

Friday in the mail I finally received the 5 Ubuntu discs I had requested. I only really needed one after realizing that I could just use the same disc over and over again. Sorry ubuntu. Well I finally got it working. It is very different, and not acting like a total dumb dumb, I knew it would be. I just wish it was a little more user friendly. Ubuntu is supposedely like the most user friendly and it is difficult. Maybe because its my first time using it. Oh well, if you don't want to do research trying to install one thing than don't use it. Ok I'm done.

Upgrading

I've been doing some work to my computers lately. I am trying to upgrade them so that they run the best that they can run. The computers aren't new but they still run really really well. Last year I bought this usb pci card so that my desktop would have some USB 2.0 ports. I actually bought it so I could hook up my iPod so I would have faster transfers. Well I hooked it up and it didn't recognize my iPod. That was the only reason I got it so I just took the PCI card out and put it somewhere. Now I'm willing to give it another try, especially since I have a much greater understanding about computers now. The problem is I can't find it. I usually never throw things away. So I am really confused. I have no clue where is can be. It sucks because I don't feel like buying another one because I know it has to be somewhere and I will probably find it as soon as I buy it. Oh well, just ranting.

I've been to the movie theater a lot this summer

I want to make a list to see if I can remember all the movies I have seen this summer.

Over the Hedge
Pirates of The Caribbean
SuperMan Returns
Click
The Breakup
X-men 3

I think their is a couple more. I just can not think of them right now. Oh well. The point of this entry was to show that I have spent a lot of money on movies this summer. I'm still planning on seeing maybe a couple more. I gotta stop, I just realized why my friends and I have such a hard time at the movie rental place. It is because we see every stinkin movie in the theaters. We should save our money for some of the cheesier movie. Oh well.

New Super Mario Bros.

I went to Circuit city today and finally bought a new game for my GameBoy DS. I got my DS as a graduation gift and like I said I finally bought a game for it. I've been playing it all afternoon and my thumb is killing me. So I decided to take a little break. So yeah I decided to write a short blog about it. So yeah, hmmm I don't really know what to write but all I know is that the game is really fun. I played the demo at the store. They had the game on the new GameBoy DS Lite. That brighter screen really makes a difference in the color of the game. I kinda wish I had the newer DS. I'd be stupid buying another one when the one I have is prefectly fine. It just gotta sucks because this is the one thing that nintendo has been doing lately. They come out with a new gameboy and then like 6 months later they come out with a smaller cooler, one with a brighter screen. It makes me mad that they keep doing that. I mean the newer DS is smaller and is all white. It looks really Apple-ish (which I like). Oh well, their is no use wasting my time writing all this. Oh well, I guess my thumb is doing better now. I'm going to get back to my game. Thank you for reading

Rocketboom 2.0 beta....

I just watched the new rocketboom 2.0 beta, uh all I have to say is I don't think I like it. I have nothing against people with accents, but the womans voice just annoyed me. I almost turned it off. The show was also kind of boring. It just didn't feel the same without amanda. I hope that they find someone else to host the show. Oh well, if you have no clue what I am talking about well Rocketboom is a Video Blog that has gained a lot of popularity. The site is www.rocketboom.com . Go check it and look through the archives. The latest video will pop up as soon as you go to the site. Just check out the show when Amanda was there. Ok I'm done about this topic.

My Little Engine That Could

I don't know if I have ever posted anything on this blogger site about my car. Almost 2 years ago I purchased my first car. I purchased a 1981 Ford Mustang Couple Ghia Edition. The car only cost $400, and only had 75k miles on it. It was the best deal ever. Since I bought it I have only put on about 10K miles. I love the car. I hate that it is starting to rust. I bought it from an older woman that kept the car in her apartment parking which was in doors. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to provide the same weather protection. So the elements have been getting to the body of the car. I have recently re-fixed a spot where rust was forming. That took about an hour. I'm really hoping that that helped. Oh well, I hate rust. If you are a car enthusiast, you will also share my pain.
One day I hope to own either a 65 mustang or my real dream car would be a 68 mustang GT500. I would also take a GT350. Gt500's are really rare and they are worth a lot of money so I really doubt I will ever own an actual GT500, maybe I will be able to clone it.
Anyway, yesterday I purchased fog lights for my car. I have trouble sometimes with my headlights because they are technology from the 81. They do serve their purpose but when it rains and it is pitch black outside I can barely see the road. So I had to do something about it. So I went to PEP Boys and purchased the fog lights. So I got them home and installed them in the car. It took about an hour and a half to install. I haven't had the chance to see how well they work since when I went to my girlfriends house last night I had to drive her car back. So I couldn't see well they worked. Oh well, I am hoping that I get a chance to use them tonight.
Here is a picture.

iFix-ed it myself

I was finally able to buy to a replacement iPod battery last thursday and I already received it today. I'm very glad to say that my iPod is back up and running. It was the stupid battery that all of a sudden just died on me. Oh well,it is fixed now. The only thing is I didn't know I could buy replacement batteries until a already took mine apart so I didn't think I'd be fixing it. So the back cover is a little sticking out. I'm on ebay right now trying to find broken ipods that I can just switch my back cover with another one. Hey maybe that ipod will only need a new battery and I will buy another $20 battery and then I will have to iPods. So yeah I'm glad that is working again.
